Final Fantasy- Tifa Lockhart inspired outfit

Tifa Lockhart inspired outfit 

So here we are again this is a cheap version of Tifa, fans will notice I've swapped out the skirt for shorts and purely for this reason- if you were to wear skirts that short at a con, when you sit down you're bound to show something, and due to Tifa's active nature you're bound to do some poses which would otherwise show your bootay. You may notice I haven't put together a full cosplay yet but so far I'm just getting a feel for the blog and the kind of reaction I will receive, so please be gentle with me.  For the arm detailing I suggest buying black tights cutting off the waist and foot and putting them on your arms. The gloves but cheap brown leatherette gloves from a store like primark and cut the fingers out of them for the green jems on the back visit a haberdashery store and buy similar gems and glue on with a hot glue gun and for the elbow pads I shall do a tutorial on :)

Black Butler- Doll inspired outfit

Doll inspired outfit 

Doll is a character featured within the manga Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) this outfit is based on the outfit she wears during performances. Links found below to further develop this outfit you can  buy faux flowers and layer them on top of your base outfit, the socks can be brought from many fancy dress stores and edited to mimic hers. I may come back to this one at some point but as for now, I've no real interest in completing the full tutorial for this character.

Hi there and welcome to Thousandthreads-Cosplay

On this blog I will be putting together cheap cosplays with little to know sewing experience, while maybe voicing some of my opinions on Cosplays or general cosplay rules.
